What is an "Extreme" Model?
Model Horse Collecting

Have ever wondered, "What is an Extreme model horse?"

Extreme models are modified far beyond the original mold and painted in exquisite detail so that the "Extreme" model is a much more customized and detailed model than other models. Lets look at a recent release called "Resolute" that we also offered as an "Extreme" model.

Both of these models have a gorgeous Bay Pinto pattern, lots of dapples, cat tracks and striped hooves.  The Extreme version also sports carefully mapped markings.  These models use the Pinto pattern designed by artist Sheila Anderson-Bishop.

Resolute Extreme

Sold for $450.00

This was a very limited run of only 10 Ideal Stock Horses. Designed by Sheila Anderson-Bishop, they are painted in a gorgeous dappled Bay Pinto pattern.

They are beautifully shaded, with extensive cat track marks, striped hooves with ermine spots, mapped markings, a big star, and a pink snip.

Awesomely customized, they have delicately braided manes, highly defined head details like the Intrepid run, carved ears and nose detail, and even have the wrinkle details on their necks enhanced for that extra presence. Their tails are short, but customized with a slight swish, and with fine details carved in. Oh, yes, they are also mares complete with udders!

We have carved in ear and nostril detail.

Also note the wrinkles in the muzzle, the fine definition to the facial muscles, the delicate details of the forelock. So much more depth!

We added jawline detail as well.

The Extreme tail has been refined quite a bit, with keyhole, and ultra fine details.

Note the difference in the width of the tail between the two versions. She has been remade a mare with udders. No simple custom for this lovely lady!
