Spring Has Sprung Centerpiece Challenge
Fun Class for Stone Horses Country Fair
- Your challenge is to create a Spring centerpiece for a table in your home. While it must contain at least 1 Stone Horse and 1 flower, you may use as many as model horses, flowers and other items as you'd like.
- You provide all the materials including models. Any type of flower may be used - real, silk, plastic, paper, etc. (How about a Draft-odil?) Your centerpiece may sit directly on the table, on a plate or other base, or in a vase or bowl.
- Due to space considerations, please keep your display within a 2'x2' area. Judging will be by popular vote.
- The creator of centerpiece with the most votes will win a special prize. Have fun!

Come to the Country Fair and enjoy some fun-filled spring days in beautiful Shipshewana! Friday and Saturday are MayFest in Shipshewana! Enjoy the parade at 10:00 am and food and entertainment throughout the day! See MayFest schedule...
On Friday join us at the Stone Horse factory for our Paint-Your-Own-Test-Run Seminar - space is limited so please signup now. Also at the Stone Horse factory on Friday is our Country Fair Sale, Noon - 4:45pm.
On Saturday is our Model Horse Show with doors opening at 7am. At the end of the show, we are planning to have a Live Auction of special One-of-a-Kind models.
2012 Event Info:
New Youth Division
We have added a new Youth Division for showers age 16 and under who can enter this division at the reduced entry fee of $10. This is a separate division for new showers (the other division is the Open Division which is the regular show). This is an educational division where the judges will work with the showers to help them learn the basics of model showing. As a note, a youth who feels he has enough experience may enter the Open division at the regular show entry of $50.

- Model Horse Show
Model show doors open at 7 am. Show begins at 8 am.
Location is the same as last year, Shipshewana Town Center. We will enter through the back of the building, much closer to the parking lot.
The show hall will close at promptly at noon. All exhibitors will be asked to leave the hall, which will be locked. Everyone is invited to come back to the Stone Horse Factory for a FREE lunch.
- The show hall will reopen at 1 pm.
- Live Auction
At the end of the show, we are planning to have a Live Auction of special One-of-a-Kind models.

2012 Paint Your Own Test Run Seminar

Breaks
We are planning a break at Noon for lunch (included in your Paint Your Own Test Run fee) and the opening of our Country Fair Sale.
Models
Your fee includes one uncustomized model from those we will have on hand to pick from. Please let us know your top 3 preferences when placing your order. We do not guarantee that all models will be available. The new Saddlebred mold will not be available.
Customized Models
We will have a number of customized models on hand, if you wish to upgrade your Test Run from an uncustomized model. Each custom model available will have an additional fee attached, so you will simply pay the difference at the start of the day and paint a custom instead of an uncustomized model. Actual molds and customizations will vary, and may not be requested beforehand. All models for painting will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis, while quantities last. |
Rules
- All Paint-Your-Own-Test-Run work must be done inside the Paint Room.
- All models, paints, or tools may not leave the Paint Room.
- No electrical or battery-operated tools, cellular phones, or personal electronic devices are permitted inside the Paint Room. Kindly leave these items locked in your car.
- Please bring your own airbrush if possible, as our available quantities are limited.
- Do not bring Aztec airbrushes as they are not compatible with our materials and may be damaged.
- We will provide all paints, patterns, models, etc, needed to paint the models.
- Our staff will be on hand to assist with questions and offer advice.
- There are only 14 spaces offered for this unique opportunity, so be sure to reserve your space quickly before they are filled.

- If you prefer to have someone pick up your order in person at the event, please provide us with the name of the person who will pick up your order.
- This person will sign for your order, and we will only release your order to the person you designate.
- Please confirm with the pick up person that they will be able to pick up your order.
- Orders will be available for pickup during the regular operating hours for the event. Certain models may not be available for pickup until certain times.
- If you prefer not to have someone pick up your order, you may add the shipping fee to your order form, and your order will be shipped directly to you beginning the week following the event
- Please be sure your correct UPS shipping address is on the order form. Insurance is included in the shipping fee, where applicable.
